| Basic Coaches Training | For beginning coaches learn the fundamentals of Odyssey of the Mind, and how to coach a team. One class is all you need to be on your way! |
| Advanced Coaches Training | Designed for coaches that want to go beyond basic coaching skills |
| Specialty Workshops | These workshops are often open to coaches AND teams and focus on specific areas of Odyssey of the Mind. Highly recommended! |
Note that for all training programs, there may be a small fee charged to cover expenses. To help with planning, pre-registration prior to the event is a minimum $5 (unless a higher amount is noted). The day of the event, non-registered people will be admitted on a space & materials available basis. Late registrations (those registering within 1 week of the event or the day of the event) are $15 (unless a higher amount is noted).

15th - South - Coaches Training - 6pm to 9pm - Copper Creek Elementary.

3rd - North - Coaches Training - Puente De Hozho Elementary School from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.
10th - Central - Coaches Training at Benchmark Charter School - Benchmark Elementary School, 4120 East Acoma Drive, Phoenix, AZ 85032
Basic Coaches Training 8AM - 11:30 AM
Advanced Coaches Training 12:30 PM - 4PM
$10 per class or $15 for both. New coaches highly encouraged to attend both sessions. You can register by emailing central@azodyssey.org.

8th - South - -- Spontaneous Workshop -- Copper Creek Elementary -- 9 am - Noon. Teams and coaches -- All Divisions are welcome. Please let me know how many teams and team members you will be bringing so I can have the correct amount of materials. Since we get the school for free and do not have custodians to clean up afterwards, we ask that you not bring snacks for your teams. If you feel they need a snack please have them outside in the courtyard and not inside the building. Contact Gary at south@azodyssey.org to register.

11th - Registration Deadline
12th - Central - Style/Spontaneous Workshop - 8:00 am - 3:00 pm - Tempe Prep Academy - 1251 East Southern Ave. - Tempe, AZ 85282 - Cost: $10/team & $5/additional school team - You can register by emailing central@azodyssey.org.
12th - Northern Region - Style and Spontaneous Workshop - 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm - NAU College of Education. It is easiest to gain access off of Riordan Road (from Milton) We will be upstairs in rooms 200 and 204 - It costs $10.00 per team attending (to cover materials, etc) - RSVP by Jan 9th to north@azodyssey.org
19th - South - Advanced Coaches Training - Coaches Only - 9 am to Noon -
Amphi District Office (tentatively). We will be covering paperwork needed for the tournament plus style for the coaches. Contact Gary at

19th - West - Style/Spontaneous Training - 8:30am to 3pm - email west@azodyssey.org for more info - whole teams strongly encouraged to come. $5 fee per school Pre-registration must be done by January 5, 2008
