| Basic Coaches Training | For beginning coaches learn the fundamentals of Odyssey of the Mind, and how to coach a team. One class is all you need to be on your way! |
| Advanced Coaches Training | Designed for coaches that want to go beyond basic coaching skills |
| Specialty Workshops | These workshops are often open to coaches AND teams and focus on specific areas of Odyssey of the Mind. Highly recommended! |
Space may be limited in some workshops and trainings. To make sure we have adequate materials, please contact the regional director (or person listed) for reservations.
September
22nd - Coaches Training - 9am to noon - Amphi District Office, 701 W. Wetmore. Contact Cymry DeBoucher, cdebouch@amphi.com to reserve your spot.
October
15th - Coaches Training - 6pm to 9pm - Copper Creek Elementary.

December
8th -- Spontaneous Workshop -- Copper Creek Elementary -- 9 am - Noon. Teams and coaches -- All Divisions are welcome. Please let me know how many teams and team members you will be bringing so I can have the correct amount of materials. Since we get the school for free and do not have custodians to clean up afterwards, we ask that you not bring snacks for your teams. If you feel they need a snack please have them outside in the courtyard and not inside the building. Contact Gary at south@azodyssey.org to register.
January
11th - Registration Deadline
12th -- Structure Building Workshop -- Pima County Library -- River and Craycroft. 9 AM - Noon. Cost -- $10 per person. This workshop is open to everyone statewide, so our space is VERY limited. We are asking that each team only bring 1 or 2 team members (your best builders). This is a hands-on workshop by Jonathon Sherwood from Sierra Vista. Jonathon and his team won 1st Place at World Finals 2 years in a row. The basic techniques for building a structure will be taught. Nothing specific to this years problem will be covered and we will not be able to answer any questions specific to this year's problem, to avoid outside assistance. 19th -- Advanced Coaches Training -- Coaches Only -- 9 am - Noon --
Amphi District Office (tentatively). We will be covering paperwork needed for the tournament plus style for the coaches. Contact Gary at
