Fund Raising for World Finals

"How in the world are we going to raise the funds to get to World Finals?" You might find yourself asking this question--especially if this is your first time going to World Finals.

Here are some ideas that other teams have used:

1. Go to your school district. They should be able to give you some financial help

2. Go to your Parent-Teacher organization at your school and ask for a donation.

3. Go to the Student Council at your school and ask for a donation.

4. Have parents ask their employers for a donation.

5. Ask the principal of your school if there are any businesses in your community with a relationship with your school, and then contact them and ask for a donation

6. Will your school or a community business help you with a fund raiser? Examples would be a car wash, carnival, a restaurant donating a percentage of it's sales one day, etc.

7. Ask other coaches who have been to World Finals what they did to raise money.
